2022 Prize Winners announced

While our 30th Anniversary Festival was in full swing, we were delighted to hold our traditional Poetry and Prize Giving event – in Cedars Hall on Monday 17 October. The time had come to announce the Competition winners!

The event was well attended, and some 39 poems were read out, 14 from the Young Poets section and a further 25 from Open Poetry.. 

Prizes were presented in all four categories and winners can be found in each category by clicking the buttons below.

We would like to thank all the members of our shortlisting panels, as well as our hard-working judges plus of course all those who entered any of the categories. If your entry didn’t quite make it through this year, don’t despair! There’s always 2023. And to the winners: keep up the good work!
