2023 Prize Winners Announced

In 2023 our winning entrants walked away with a magnificent £4825 between them. Perhaps even more importantly they were rewarded with the confidence that their submissions had been read and approved by well-known and highly respected judges, amongst the finest in their fields.

This level of recognition is not easily won; entrants submit to Wells from all round the world and a more talented and determined crowd would be hard to find!

We also honour our local winners with special prizes, so no one is left out. And everyone comes together during the Festival itself for a Poetry Reading and Prize Giving in Cedars Hall where the achievements of the winners and shortlisters are publicly recognised.
