Some legal cases leave an indelible mark; we find it hard to believe the outcome could ever have been in dispute. Such as Sally Challen winning her appeal to overturn her conviction for the murder of her coercively controlling husband. Or when victims of serial rapist John Worboys successfully took the Metropolitan Police to court for their investigative failures.
