Kit the Poet is packing up his portable typewriter and bringing it to the Festival where he will write poems on demand.

For a personal poem, all you need to do is pick a topic, approach the poet, watch while he taps out your poem, and pay him what you think is a fair price.

Kit Mackintosh is a well-known, and much-praised, street poet at London’s Covent Garden where he sets up his typewriter and table each day and merrily taps out poetic requests, accepting whatever donation is offered for his work.

But for once he will be in Wells, and this is your chance to see poetry in motion and enjoy the novel experience of having a unique poem written just for you.
