sponsors and supporters are vital to the success of the Festival
We are enormously grateful to both businesses and individual’s contributions, and we are very keen to attract more sponsors and supporters to help fund our expanding year-round programme of literacy projects with local schools and colleges.
Profits generated by the Festival go towards a range of educational and fun projects for young people. These include book donations and exciting in-school events with author visits and inspiring writing sessions; we also host over 1,000 Year 6 children at the Festival. The generosity of our supporters, sponsors, Friends of the Festival, and our volunteers continues to fund our Education Programme to over 3,500 children from local schools.

Please back our well-regarded cultural and educational events with a contribution of just £100. This will help our work in spreading the love of reading and literacy. For this you will be acknowledged on the ‘Thanks to Supporters’ page of the Brochure and website.
Become a Sponsor of the Festival
Sponsors can help by sponsoring one or more Festival events, provide a service or product for use during the Festival, or suggest ways in which you can support our work within schools.
To make it easy to become a sponsor we are introducing three different levels of sponsorship packages this year – see details below.
Signing up to any one of these packages will mean that your name and logo appear in all 8,000 copies of the Wells Festival of Literature brochure. These are distributed locally in shops, cafes and community centres from mid August until the Festival ends on 24 October.
The deadline to sign up is 13 July.

Sponsorship Packages
Gold Sponsorship £1,250
- 1/4 page entry in the Brochure in addition to your branding/name on the author’s page and website, plus an auditorium screen advert.
- Complimentary launch party tickets and 10 tickets to your event.
Silver Sponsorship £750
- 1/8 page entry in the Brochure in addition to your branding/name on the author’s page and website, plus an auditorium screen advert.
- Complimentary launch party tickets and 6 tickets to your event.
Bronze Sponsorship £400
- Your branding/name on the author’s page in the Brochure and website plus an auditorium screen advert.
- Complimentary launch party tickets and 2 tickets to your event.
