Writer Henry Normal is known for his poetry and stories about his family on BBC Radio 4, and for his success as a TV and film producer.

His latest collection Collected Poems Volume Four, is due out this autumn, when he will also be recording his 11th Radio 4 show A Normal Journey.

He co-wrote and script edited the Mrs Merton show and the spin off series Mrs Merton and Malcolm, as well as the first series of The Royle Family.

With Steve Coogan he co-wrote the BAFTA winning Paul and Pauline Calf Video Diaries, and in  1990 he set up Baby Cow Productions Ltd. Highlights have included the Oscar-nominated film Philomena, Gavin and Stacey, The Mighty Boosh, and Red Dwarf. He was awarded a BAFTA for services to television in 2017.
