When familiarity and age begin to take their toll? What does love actually look like – or feel like – a few years down the line?

Widely acknowledged as one of Britain’s best novelists, Howard Jacobson draws on the wisdom and understanding he has gleaned as the award-winning author of 17 novels and six works of non-fiction to look at romance in later life, a subject not usually celebrated in fiction.
