Happy Days!

Looking back on the 2024 Festival, it’s almost impossible to decide who enjoyed it most. Was it the speakers themselves? There were 35 of them, each with a very different tale to tell, all fascinating and all inspirational in the telling. But then what about the interviewers, including our dedicated Festival Associates? It certainly looks as though they were having a good time… Even the volunteer Committee members who had put so much effort into the preparations over the past year were able to relax and enjoy the fruit of their labours! As could the local schoolchildren who benefitted from the various educational projects funded entirely by Festival profits (see full details here)

It’s fair to say that a good time was had by one and all, making the 2024 Festival the most successful to date. But bear in mind that little phrase ‘to date.’ 2025 is edging closer by the minute and plans for next October are already being discussed.
